What is Altro Whiterock?
Altro Whiterock is a hygienic PVCu wall cladding used instead of tiles. With no grout lines to crack or trap dirt, it's quick to wipe clean, highly durable and is widely used in food preparation areas, healthcare and education. It comes in white and a wide range of colours and finishes.

Installed properly
Whiterock only performs as it should when it's fitted correctly. We prepare the walls, bond the sheets, and heat-form internal and external corners on site so there are as few joints as possible. Where it meets the floor we seal it to the flooring for a fully hygienic finish from floor to ceiling.
Recent project – local catering company: we lined a room at their premises in white PVC hygienic wall cladding and laid Altro safety flooring with a 100mm coved skirting, heat-welding every joint so the floor and walls form one sealed, wipe-clean surface. We also fitted a seamless, welded Altro floor with coved skirting inside their industrial walk-in fridge – easy to clean and built to cope with constant cold and foot traffic.

Can Whiterock go over existing tiles?
Often it can, if the tiles are sound and firmly fixed. We'll check the walls during the free survey and tell you what preparation is needed.
How long does a commercial kitchen take?
It depends on the size of the kitchen and the preparation needed – we'll give you a clear timescale with your quote. We can work evenings and weekends to keep your business running.
